Meet Jacleen Hess


Jacleen Hess is a lifelong equine enthusiast and student of the horse. She is a trainer, coach, and clinician who is passionate about developing horses with the fundamentals, skills, and confidence to be a part of providing equine assisted services (EAS) at centers for years to come.

After working with horses using the Lyons training method for years, she went through and graduated from Brandi Lyon’s Trainer Certification course. She went on to intern under Dan James from Double Dan Horsemanship, where she still works as an Assistant Trainer and Barn Manager.

Jacleen has experienced first hand the power that horses have in providing healing, friendship, and comfort and wants to give back to others in this area. She uses her specialty of training and experience as a PATH Intl. Certified Therapeutic Riding Instructor and Physical Therapist Assistant to develop horses specifically for programs that provide equine assisted services.

At the core Jacleen is dedicated to developing specially trained equine partners for equine-assisted services. She also supports EAS centers to ensure:
